There is no way you can satisfactorily cover all that a country as huge and varied as South Africa has to offer on a website. But as you do not have ten years to come and explore, we've reduced our favourites to a few simple lists. At Satpack Travel, we simply love lists. We love compiling them. We love agonising over them… We love changing them.

We couldn’t only cover the places we really like because we know that most tourists go to some places that we don't – for example they stop at a places like Sandton when in Johannesburg. So we’ve covered them under our ‘Most Visited’ lists. We give our brutally honest assessment of where we think is worthy of your hard-earned dollars in the Western Cape, the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga & Safari and other regions of Southern Africa.

Top Five Off-the-Beaten-Track

We also recommend ‘off-the-beaten-track’ places that we like but that don’t make it onto most visitors' itineraries. Yet. Here we only list our absolute favourites in the Western Cape, the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga & Safari and other regions of Southern Africa.
