How many evenings and lunches have you spent dining on holiday at poor restaurants? How were you to know that the food wasn’t going to be fresh, or that you’d get the waiter with a bad attitude?

South Africa has become a gastro-destination, famed for its ‘new world’ cuisine. This includes: using only seasonal local ingredients; traditional specialties from the famous Afrikaans potjkie and babotie to fresh seafood dishes; and the increasingly highly-regarded meats including warthog, kudu and ostrich. But in most places, especially away from Cape Town and the winelands, there’s still a way to go.

We have a database of our favourite restaurants in South Africa. We constantly check out what is hot and what is not.

We can book make reservations for popular restaurants before you travel or even whilst you are on the road to give you flexibility.
