But we know you can’t always just trust technology. Satellite navigation devices typically take you on the shortest possible route between two points. For example, if you arrived at OR Tambo (Johannesburg International Airport) and wanted to get to Sandton (where most international tourists stay in Johannesburg) a normal satnav device would guide you through Alexandria Township. Although this is a fascinating, vibrant township, this is probably the last thing you want after a long flight. Rather let us show you a longer, but quicker and safer route.

So we pre-load all your routes onto your device. At Satpack HQ we create via points from the beginning to the end of your journey and download this to your device before you collect it. We know of no other travel company in the world that offers this service.

As you travel we provide relevant information about scenery and points of interest along the way. We can also recommend places to eat and stop over. We may even be able to pre-warn you about roadworks, accidents and roadblocks!
